A young family man came to the altar in the midst of the "Kingdom Cause" series to pray. His heart told him to make a generous pledge but his head reminded him that income was barely paying the bills. The heart inspired by the Spirit won, and the pledge was made on Leadership Night.
Since that time, this young engineer received a 4% increase in compensation, the highest that he was eligible for. But then, a discrepancy was found in wage scales between departments within the same company. In order to rectify the error, my friend suddenly received an additional 6% increase. A 10% jump by the end of March!
He's praising God for being the Provider. That 10% has a biblical ring to it, doesn't it?
